I just wanted to thank Mike Hammerle. Last week I brought my Boy Scout to Belle-Clair to do the opening flags.

After the race I took them to the pits. I asked Mike if he could tell them a little about late models, none of the scouts had ever been to a race. He not only told them about the car, but he let them climb in and take pictures. They had a blast.

Couple Mike's generosity with his time, great racing, and the cops showing up; the boys had the time of their lives.

At this week's meeting all I heard was "My dad is taking me this week", and "I can't wait to go again".

Mike helped give some kids a great evening and created a handful of new racing fans.
 
Mike is a class act, Just wish all racer's had His Racing Ethic's........I agree we need more stories like this about others helping to save this sport !
 
It was a joke. They are the most fun crew at the track. Especially for old guys. Now you ruined my joke. Lmao
