Ump Mod Track Champion 2007

I'll go with the Stallion #48 in UMP MODs and Steve Myers 21m moving up from ump mods to take crate late models, 11z Collins to repeat in UMP Late Models.......and I do believe the BIG DOGS will be there and the UMP sanction WILL HAPPEN......Thank you very much! ....jcup

You will probably get some of the better drivers for the bigger money events they will run but not many will show up for a regular night show. Korty won the UMP point championship last year. How many Friday night shows do you think he will show up for ?

This is just my opinion and not anything official from RKR.

I would bet that on most nights that Randy is in town on Friday nights he will race at Tri-City. If his schedule is like last year, and I have no reason to believe otherwise, he will run big money shows in the region. On nights when there are not any money shows close, he will race at the local track that pays the most money and that he enjoys racing the most. And I’m pretty sure that will be Tri-City!

He'd have a harder time wining a UMP championship especially when the point race tightens up if he ran many Friday nights on a non UMP track. I look for him to go to Farmer city or Kentucky. He may run a few nights at TCS if other tracks gets rained out. If hes not interested in UMP points this year he may show up.

Bryan Collins will be defending his title at TCS in 2007!

IS THAT FROM BRIAN COLLINS? IS HE NOT CHASING UMP POINTS? HE QUIT RACING MONTGOMERY WHEN THE UMP POINT SYSTEM WAS CHANGED AND IT HURT HIM RUNNING THERE. SO UNLESS YOU GET UMP OR HE ISN'T CONCERNED WITH THEM ANYMORE????

Farmer City 3 hrs
kentucky 3 hr
Jacksonville 2 hr
tricity 45 mins
i think tri-city is the better choice

Not if he's wanting the national championship, but I think he could race there and still have a great shot at it if he even wanted it.

Nice thing to say about the Crates, Sam.....,sure there will be "noobs" to the class but the majority of us have raced for awhile.

thats the way i see it.look some body put a post about what class would be best to start in street stock or crates they think its a class for the new guys and its far from it.some new guys will do fine but the most will tear YOUR car up. you took it the wrong way.good luck in your crate. See ya at the track

Not Necessarily

For UMP points you are only allowed to count 50 nights of racing before you start replacing points anyway. Last year most of the top 25 drivers were already at their 50 nights before 3/4 of the season was over. I don't think anyones decision to race at TCS a few nights out of the year will pend on the sanctioning question.

Santioned or not, TCS will be "the" place to race and I wish Kev & Tam a great year.
