The old days

It seems the more i see the vintage cars, the more my interest sparks on the history of some of these cars and drivers. I have been going to sfcr since i was a kid (back in the empire speedway days) and a few of these cars have me really interested in learning more about the cars and drivers from the old days. A guy i work with brought in a pic of his dads car that raced many years ago, Jim Knox, who raced at a few of the different local tracks back in the day.

So does anyone else have any pics and info on the older cars? The drivers? Where are they now? Are the cars still around in a barn or a field somewhere? Info on the different tracks? (Bismarck, Potosi, etc.)

Thanks, Mike

My Uncle was Bernell Pulley who lived on AA off 32 outside Farmington, used to set in those old cars then. I know one of his drivers married his daughter, Dale Resinger and another one of his drivers was Junior Guille who now lives on AA to.

That is very cool Randy! Thanks! Just wondering, are any of those real old cars from Bismarck or Davis Crossing still around anywhere? It would be neat to see an old car like that now days.
