Wow, what a shame. One person screwing it up for everybody. Hope the track can overcome this...but it will be hard. Prayers for the worker and the promoters.
 
This is far from one person screwing it up for everybody...and exactly why open alcohol is banned in the pits until after the races.

Not trying to take away from what happened...but why would the coroner's office assist in the investigation when the man was still alive?
 
I once knew a guy who told me that he drove better after he had a few. Funny thing though, I never saw him win a race and he crashed a lot. It was a good thing he got out of the sport before he hurt himself or someone else.
