First of all, I spent all friggin day there.
1. USAC numbers down because? Conflicts elsewhere or cars not strong enough for 1.25 mi asphalt?
2. No race programs available.
3. Scoring pylon not working either race.
4. Lights stayed on ALL race this time, no repeat performance of last two times.
5. Weather/temps great all day long. Suggestion for track would be to have some more picnic tables/ benches under grandstands to get out of sun during long afternoons.
6. Truck race was great, the Quiorga may have a hard time finishing next race though.
7. Will go again next year, but if there's not more USAC entrants might skip that part of the card. Supposed to be 35 on the card for the dirt at the State Fair.

Bighonkin I agree with most of what you say. We got there just after the USAC race ended. I looked for a program too. None available. There was an electrical issue with the scoring pylon that couldn't be resolved by race day. I think they did good by putting up a big screen and providing a live feed for the fans by the start finish line. $20 bucks to park was a little excessive. I don't mind paying that much if they would have had a tram or some sort of transportation to drop people off at the gate. Leaving the place after the race was a nightmare. Took us 50 minutes to exit the facility. Other than that the weather was great, it was fathers day weekend, and there is nothing like watching a Nascar race live.
