The practice session for the SuperClean Diamond Nationals is still on for this Thursday, May 8th. We are watching weather that looks to end any chances of getting on the track sooner but the forecast shows it moving out of the area in time for the 6 p.m. Thursday evening practice as scheduled.

"We are really excited about getting these guys some track time before the Diamond," said Kevin Greven, General Track Manager. "There are quite a few of the top teams that have never been on the Diamond of Dirt Tracks."

The pit pass for Thursday's practice is $10 per person and will include a special welcome dinner for participants, serving to begin at 5:30 p.m. in the main grandstand concessions.

"This is not an open practice," added Greven. "This practice session is for this weekend's participating Late Models and "A" Modifieds only."

Regular Thursday practice schedules are in the works for the rest of this season but have been hampered thus far by threats of bad weather. Watch the website for further developments.

This practice session is free to the public with open seating in the main grandstands begining at 5 p.m. However there will be no spectator pit access with out a pit pass.

Event Pit passes this weekend are $25 on Friday and $30 on Saturday. The complete weekend itinerary is online at LucasOilSpeedway.com.
