WRIGHT CITY, Missouri (November 3, 2009) - - Tim Andrews will be back behind the wheel of the MB Motorsports Ford F-150 at Texas Motor Speedway. Andrews made his inaugural NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) start at Chicagoland Speedway in an MB Motorsports Ford F-150 earlier this season. There, Andrews qualified twenty-seventh and finished twenty-fifth after suffering a broken valve in the engine. “Even though we didn’t get the finish we were looking for, I think we can build on the experience we gained at Chicagoland,” stated Andrews.

Since the NCWTS race at Chicagoland, Andrews has driven in two NASCAR Nationwide Series events at Dover International Speedway, where he started a career-best fourteenth, and Lowe’s Motor Speedway. Even though he hasn’t been behind the wheel as much as he would like this year, Andrews is so grateful to have these opportunities to try to build on something for the 2010 season. “Right now we are talking to a couple of Nationwide teams for 2010 but everything is in the preliminary stages,” declared Andrews. “With the state of the economy right now, it is difficult to put a deal together to drive a Nationwide car or Camping World truck for the full season but that is still my goal for next year.”

“I am so thankful to Mike and the entire MB Motorsports team for putting me in their truck for Texas. Even though our night was cut short at Chicagoland, I learned a lot regarding how a truck drives and reacts in certain situations. I know with all of the hard work Mike and the team has put into this Ford F-150 that we’ll be in good shape. Our goal at Texas is to continue to gain experience while getting the finish the team deserves,” commented Andrews.

“We were very impressed with Tim’s capabilities at Chicago land Speedway”, stated Mike Mittler, owner & crew chief. “Things have worked out so Tim can run the Texas truck race with us. We will be running the same truck we ran at Chicago, so it will be familiar to him. The team has been working hard on the truck preparation and the engine program. We are excited about this week’s race where we will have a winning combination with a good truck, a strong engine, Tim in the driver’s seat, and his dad, Paul Andrews assisting on the pit box.”

Tim Andrews and the Mittler Bros. Machine & Tool Ford F-150 will take to Texas Motor Speedway Thursday afternoon for two practice sessions followed by Keystone Light Pole Qualifying at 8 p.m. EST. Friday evening NCWTS SetUp begins at 8:30 p.m. EST on Speed with coverage of the WinStar World Casino 350K beginning at 9:00 p.m. EST on Speed and MRN Radio.
