CLARKSVILLE, TN – TNT Race Cars of Piney Flats, TN has agreed to become a sponsor of the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series for the 2006 and 2007 seasons. TNT Race Cars will award the 2006 StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region Champion Jason Wilson of Margaret, AL a new TNT Chassis.
TNT Race Cars were driven to eight victories in StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series competition in 2006.
Seven of those wins came at Thunderhill Raceway in Lawrenceburg, TN with Jerry Owens of Florence, AL taking five victories, and Donald Johns of Summertown, TN winning twice. R.D. Smith of Pell City, AL won with a TNT Race Car at Childersburg Speedway in Childersburg, AL.
“The StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series and the Weekly Racing Series have been good for weekly dirt late model racing competitors, and that’s our main customer base,” TNT Race Cars President Tony Ford said. “The series has really been working hard to strengthen weekly dirt late model racing, and we’re glad to be a part of that.”
StormPay.com President of Operations and Communications Roby Helm has known Tony and Teresa Ford for a number of years, and also knows their commitment to weekly dirt late model racers.
“Tony Ford and his wife Teresa have been putting out a great product for a number of years now, and we’re proud to have them involved with the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series,” Helm said. “TNT has always been committed to the weekly racer, and we feel the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series and the Weekly Racing Series is a good fit for them.”
