First off,let me say that i am not a pal,buddy,business partner,relative,or even a good friend of charlies(the B-Town promoter and head offical at HI-LAND)I can comuicate with him and most of the time it is a constructive conversation..Well some of you got on this site and beat him up for pulling the plug on tonights show,,Well folks,its 25 after 8PM and raining here in Pocahontas,will it move down the road to B-Town?heck,i dont know but I would rather be sitting here in the comfort of my computer cave than standing out in some muddy pit area getting wet,,I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO RUNNING THE 1 CAR IN THE SPORTSMAN CLAS TONIGHT,,,Perhaps charlie is a bit smarter than some of you all think and checked with the wether channell prior to calling the show,,do i agree with every thing he does,,HECK NO!do i think some things could be improved,FOR SURE,,i could go on and on but it seems to me that some folks live to come on stlracing and bee/atch,bee/atch & bee/atch,,to them i say,,,IF YOU THINK YOU CAN DO A BETTER JOB,WELL STEP RIGHT ON UP!!!!!,,this is lenny g...HAVE A NICE DAY,
 
scruffy what class do you run? Show some respect , I've been watching Fireball for thirty years now ,sorry I do not remember watching scruffy ever.

Sorry dont race,but Ive been watching since way before you.Thirty years ago you were in diapers,since I see you were born in 1974.It's time to either upgrade the equipment or hang it up he's in the way and someone will get hurt!!!
 
No not old just about 6 years older than you. :)So does that mean your still in your diapers then ??? :eek:

I agree with you...some people have a lot of nerve disrespecting people, what makes you think you could go out there and jump in a car and do any better than anyone else? Its comments like that, that make this message board a negative thing.
 
SCRUFFY,,why dont you ask anyone that was at lebanon midway speedway on 7/1/05 if i can keep up in the 1 car,true as a latemodel it is a back marker but have you ever seen me in it when i run it as a sportsman?But at least it does my hart good to see this posting turned arround to pick on me instead of giving chuckie credit for not waisting a bunch of racers time,,
 
one more thing SCRUFFY,,since you and I would both like to see me upgrade my equipment and since you live so close,why dont you get you gang together and come put the nice rayburn chassis i have in the shed together,,its kinda like a big model kit only this one dont sit on a shelf gathering dust,,ya race it,,,
 
I wouldn't drive that car,being to afraid it would fall apart around me!!!!All I would be holding is the steering wheel if I'm not dead.I will talk to Al Kreke and see if he'll let me try one of his cars out,you would prolly be suprised at what you would see.Me kicking some arses out there.If I had the cash and my wife wouldn't divorce me I'd be in a late model. :)

Fireball..who cares...whether you can..so call.."keep up" Are you having fun?? If so, man..thats what its all about. Heck..id run last for the rest of my life..i dont care. As long as im having fun...thats what its all about. Thats why i havent raced either...been swamped with work..ect. No fun..no racing.
 
it doesnt say anwere in the rule book that you have to be able to drive it says what kind of car you have to drive and stuff like that it ddoesnt say you have to have talent
 
GoatRoper2 if my wife wore the pants,I wouldn't go to 12 races in a month nor about 60 a year.So your wrong there,just ask how many more cars there would be if it wasn't for wifes.Get one you'll see. :D :eek:
