Charleston, MO (7/22/09) –Todd Hall piloted his #99 FTS Logistics/Mastersbilt Crate Late Model to his third feature win of the 2009 season on Friday night at Malden Speedway.
Todd had a great outing on Friday night at Malden Speedway in Malden , Missouri in a Weekly Racing Series Event. In the feature he took the win over Chris Hall and Todd Gibbs, which was Hall's second triumph of the 2009 season! After winning his heat race, he started second in the feature and powered his way to the win, which was his second of the 2009 campaign.
Todd made the last minute decision to compete in a Weekly Racing Series Event on Friday night at Malden Speedway in Malden , Missouri , and it would prove to be a great decision. He would rocket his way to the win in the Crate Late Model feature event. The triumph marked his third of the 2009 season!
Two weeks ago Todd Hall Motorsports made the long tow over the Fourth of July holiday weekend to the $25,000 to win/$1,000 to start, Crate World Championships at Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe , Alabama . With 69 of the nation's top Crate Late Models on hand the team got behind the eight ball out of the box as Todd struggled in time trials, resulting in him starting 9th in his heat race. He would advance to a sixth place finish in the heat race, which resulted in him starting 4th in his b-main on Saturday night. He would advance one spot to a third place finish, but only the top two cars transferring to the feature. Todd did get to run a special non-qualifier event and recorded a second place finish in the 30 lap event.
This weekend, Hall will enter a pair Crate Late Model Weekly Racing Series Events in the state of Missouri . On Friday night, July 24th the team will compete at the ¼ mile Malden Speedway in Malden , Missouri . On Saturday, July 25th, the team will head west to West Plains Motor Speedway in West Plains , Missouri for a weekly show at the Don and Billie Gibson’s 3/8 mile oval.
