Inside Line Promotions - CLAY, N.Y. (Nov. 1, 2018) - Joe Trenca produced several bright moments throughout the 2018 season.
The Mucci Motorsports driver tied his career-best sprint car finish with a runner-up result at Outlaw Speedway in Dundee, N.Y., on Aug. 24. He also added a fourth-place finish at the track on Sept. 22.
"We ran really well at Outlaw Speedway this year," Trenca said. "We ended the season with four straight top 10s there to give us 10 career top 10s at Outlaw. A big part of that is our comfort and confidence there so our focus moving forward is to build more comfort and confidence at more tracks."
Trenca posted 11 top 10s this season, which tied his most ever in a single season. He also finished the season with back-to-back top 10s.
"I feel like we are ending the year with some good momentum so that is a positive heading into the offseason," he said.
Trenca also highlighted his 13 starts in 410ci winged sprint car competition by scoring a 10th-place result at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pa., on May 11.
"We were able to do more traveling this year and see some new tracks so that was exciting," he said. "Our plan is to continue to do more 410 shows as well as go to new tracks. I think that's the best way to become a better driver.
"I want to thank my family, my crew and all of our partners for the support. We're going to work hard to make 2019 our best year ever."
