Great pass by Harrison for the lead, too bad Hancock door slammed into the wall in the next turn..

Good to see Ray Walsh in victory lane though...

Great racing all night long though.

A slide job gone bad? When mike stuck his head in the car hancock told him he had to lift in one and two so why shouldnt mike have to lift for him it was intentional an everyone knows it thats how hancock drives i dont think that hancock knows what a clean slide job looks like because ive personally never seen him do one. jmo

it was 2 hard nose drivers going at .slide jobs are pretties thing in racing if its done right and can be the ugliest if gone bad

when harrison past hancock it really was not even a slide job .He had hancock cleared buy plenty it didnt look like mike or tim even had to lift. but in the next corner pretty sure hancock knew that was not even close . To bad was a good race harrison should of won that one. Tims a good driver but made a bad move there.

Hancock had to lift?..o_O Harrison was 2 car lengths in front of him coming out of Turn 2! Hancock has good equipment but sometimes his driving is merely average.

Not sure where Handcock gets he had to lift in one and two...the video plainly shows he didnt lift nor did he lift coming out of two! Its simply Hancock geting ticked over getting passed. His brother n law drives the same way! If you pass me and i know i cant beat you if i can get to you im taking you out to beat you! Thats their mentality! Bunch cry babys if you ask me! Plain and simple Hancock took Harrison out there is no slide job gone bad to it! The video shows what it is.

lol..took em out with his right rear wheel. I like both drivers but thats just racin son. Mikes as good as they come and if there was time to get off the gas and on the brakes he would have. Hard racing. jmo

Hardlefts unless my eyes are playing tricks on me.....i have watched this video numerous times and i dont believe the center of Hancocks car is the right rear! He hit Harrison in the left front wheel with the center of the right side door! Thats hardly the right rear wheel! Hancock did exactly what he set out to do and that was take Harrison out! Then to through icing on the cake after he and Harrison had their conversation in three and four Hancock pulls down the front straight away and waves at whoever in the stands as a gestur to say i took him out! No matter how you look at it he purposely took him out....its cut and dry in the video!

Well here is my view. Neither drive their own cars which means they have owners to answer too. I dont think it was a flat take out. I think it was a slide job gone bad on a slick slick track(look how glazed that corner was). Both were peddling right to the wall because the cushion was gone. If Hancock wanted to take him out he could have done it in turn 2. Also (and ive been in this position numberous times!) if your in front of a car and he dive bombs under you but you see him coming up the track in a hurry there is a thing called a brake pedal that could actually kept the wreck from happening. But both these guys were running hard and didnt want to give up that space so walla.......you have a crash. It happens. Im not saying Harrison should have been happy to back off because someone was going to ram him for a position. But if he did hit the brakes Handcock would have cracked the wall and Harrison would have the position. But rarely happens when you have 2 drivers running 120 percent. They both wanted the same spot at the same time. Think back when Cousin Carl tried to pass couple of years ago and flat took it into the wall on a dive bomb move just like that one and lost the race because of it. Great run by Ray. Been awhile since he won Tri City.

He hit him door to door, when do you think harrison seen him? If he could of hit the brakes to avoid tearing up a good racecar, dont you think he would? Harrison flat had him beat out of two, if you watch closely harrison was already going full speed when hancock caught him out of two, he couldnt of hit him if he wanted because he didnt even lift, just got beat. Poor decision is what i seen, not racing.

Im in noway affiliated with either driver. Ive had people do exactly what Hancock did and you can see them sliding up the track and i have a bad left eye! You have 2 decisions to make. Hammer it and see what happens(aka-probable wreck) or let off the gas let him slide up in front of you and nail the wall. I raced for 8 years. Tracks get slick like ice. Godfrey was like this weekly and anyone who ran there knows what its like. Those cars when on the bars want cushion. The cushion was all the way up the track. Yes it was a poor decision on Hancocks part to do what he did. But Harrison could have backed out too and let him tear up his own car. Im in noway defending Hancock. And if any of you ever met Dave Watters one thing he absolutely does not want is a torn up race car. And he will not put u with that either. With the costs of parts nowadays its too expensive to play those kind of games. It was two racers racing hard. And i would have been just as mad if i was Harrison. But ive also seen Harrison take people out racing hard as well(playback to the Harrison-Seets wreck). In fact in that deal he did the same thing. bottom of the track all the way up and door slammed Seets into the gaurdrail. Its nature of the beast sometimes. This is my opinion. If you feel different well thats your opinion. And i am in no way dissing those. But if youve been physically in a racecar and put your own money into the sport you are well aware of the dangers let alone the cost of incidents. In todays world there are no car owners locally who can afford someone to tear there cars up weekly by hothead moves. Poor decision was made and cost both drivers actually but until you have driven a car running up front on a big race going for the win you cannot fathom what its like to push it to the edge and actually over the edge to get one more spot. Mods are the worst cars to drive because of that feature.
