Tri City Modified Tires

What ever happen to the three modified tires
that were sent off for testing. Come on JD
I'm sure you know.

A lawyer un ****** believable !!!!!!!!

So let me get this strait.Trista"s dad hired a lawyer?for what??? Because kevin and ump took a tire sample to the lab for testing. You have got to be kidding me.If this is true. The only thing i can say is they must be guilty of something,That would be the only reason you would need a lawyer.

The key words in the original "lawyer post" were "I heard". Anytime I see the words "I heard" I stop reading because more often then not what follows is a false rumor.

exactly the type of post that is RUINING this site and SPORT.
I have been watching this sport for over 40 years. I simply stated something I heard for clarification and never accused anyone. I never post anything on these forums but am tired of watching my favorite class get ruined by cheating and over spending. That's what is ruining the sport, not me, the loyal fan that helps pay the purse. That's what forums are for if you haven't noticed. Obviously promoters, fans, officials, drivers and crew are all reading these forums and as I feel I am just as big a part of racing as the next person this needs to be out in the open to save a class that had been out of control for some years now

What do you consider over spending? To some , a 4000.00 dollar engine is alot.Where do you draw the line on how much is spent on an engine/car?Say one guy can only afford a $5000 engine, and he complains that the guy with the $8000 engine in ruining the class, and the guy with the $8000 engine says the guy with the $12000 is ruining the class , and so on and so on.The top guys are not going to go out there and race on used tires , because they can afford to buy new.Alot of guys are going out there to win and will do what it takes money wise to do it.Cant blame the teams for spending the money.

And your exacly correct and your starting to see car counts drop because of it... how many fans know the difference in a 10,000 dollar engine and a crate motor in a car or a D verses an H mounted on a rim and how much other things can save racers money ? if your answer is i dont care " I have a fat pocket book " then you can say that you are the one ruining Racing and helping closing tracks.

Only tracks willing to cut cost on racers plus adding more classes on a race nite are gonna survive, I would bet a hefty paycheck that if tracks dropped A-mods and added B-mods with crate motors the car count would probly triple..most fans wouldnt know the difference. Tracks are gonna have to do something soon

Ok, now you just put engine builders out of business, I agree somthing needs to be done to save dirt racing. But putting engine builders out of business will only insure the price of crate engines will go up. Sorry that just will not work.

Yep. Trying to discredit their tire sample since they had the tire off the car and on the Infield. Kevin must of treated it on the Infield. Lol...

If any of this is true and lawyers are getting involved, and since there probably were not any state or federal laws encroached. It's not hard to figure out were this could go.

I think we now have proof positive as to how tire prepping can/will be detrimental to dirt track racing.

This is exactly what I heard. They got a lawyer and saying that while the tire was out of their possession it tampered with. If it was my track, which it is not for all you crucifers, they would not come back to my facility.

you have got to be kidding me!!! kevin in no way would do that and you guy's are starting **** that aint true... I sure hope they come back clean and trista keeps running as good as she has. You guys need to realize this is the best track around and kevin takes pride in what they do!!! It shows every week at the track..
