Granite City, IL -- With Noah spied at the local hardware store stocking up on lumber, persistent rain showers and cool temperatures have once again forced cancellation of the May 1 Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers Racing Series event at Tri-City.
"Pepsi Bike Week" will also be rescheduled for Saturday, May 8. Children 10 and under can register next Saturday to win a Boys and Girls bicycle and a Family Four-Pack of tickets good to any Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers Racing Series event at Tri-City. Saturday’s event will the first of four Bike Weeks at the Granite City quarter-mile.
Spectator gates for “Pepsi Bike Week” open at 6 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m. Adults $10; Students (11-17) $5 and Children 10 and under $2. Parking is always FREE. Tri-City Speedway is located one-half mile south of I-270 on Illinois Route 203 South (exit 4).
