Tri-City Speedway & Highland Speedway Upper Control Arm Rule in the Street Stock Class.


A stock replacement Upper Control Arm made by U-B Machine Part #14-0809-5R 8" Right or #14-0829-6L 8.5" Left that have a steel crossshaft will be allowed. These bolt directly to stock mounting brackets. You will NOT be allowed to move the brackets on the frame. These a-arms use the stock K-5208 balljoint as well.

These will be optional, not mandatory! There is no performance advantage to this control arm, just the ease of being able to get them.

Chubby Chassis will keep these in stock. 618-667-2727

Allied will possibly go to this rule as well, they have a board meeting Thursday.

You could be right on allied doing this and hope they do just wish they would have been more up front on this at their meeting. Idea pretty much got shut down without any discussion. I hope allied starts allowing ideas to be at least discussed and not just thats the rule accept it. Same thing on the head rule.

Exact reason I quit going to the rules meetings. Nothing is discussed and if you ask a question you get talked down to.
 
Thank you Kevin, these are so much stronger and saves time and money, I have them on my cars in Arkansas, they don't bend like a stock one!
 
Got an e-mail from Donnie Hoener this morning. Allied has legalized these control arms as well.
