Tri-City Speedway UMP Sanctioned for 2011!!!

UMP Director Sam Driggers confirmed that Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, IL will be UMP Sanctioned for Late Models, Modifieds, Pro-Crate Late Models & Factory Stocks for the 2011 racing season.

For all the information attend our rules meeting this Sunday December 12th at the
Knights of Columbus (Granite City) at 1:30p.m.

The Street Stocks at Tri-City would have to sanction with the UMP Factory Stock division. The UMP Street Stocks division has their own set of rules that I doubt many of those running at Tri-City would want to switch to.

they need to make them ump more cars would come ... they will need a bigger car count for a three thousand to win show .. and you would be able to race more tracks further away..
 
leave the class alone dont want another sportsman class with a handfull of cars. street stocks have the best car counts at tricity

I would not want to run a race track around here....they put out a "tentative" schedule in mid December and get ripped apart for not having all the races confirmed with dates. Give them a break, they're just trying to get some dates out there for next year.
 
leave the class alone if you look back on car count i think the ss done a lot better than a lot of the ohter classes week in and out
 
The updates to Tri City Speedway are going to be great. It's good to see the Gundakers putting money back into the track like this. Maybe they can buy some of the seats from Gateway to replace the old rusted-wooden ones they have now? Wonder if the admission prices and concessions are going to be increased? Couldn't blame them if they raised them some.
 
ump street stocks are almosts sportsmans,the class should b left alone,i seen it years ago people wanting holleys,aluminum intakes and so on,people got rid of there cars because of the expense,and then tracks dropped the class because of car count was down,leave a good thing alone and enjoy.
