WOW ! YOU ACTUALLY READ MY MIND ! Not just about Tammy and Kevin but all tracks and promoters.... I know money is tight this year but I STILL go to the tracks through massive rain storms cause I have not gotten the call yet with the words owners do not want to say rained out. :( Many times you get to the track and there is no rain 1 mile away from the monsoon...... then the whole world is happy cause we got LUCKY ! I feel for all owners and promoters that they have to take these bashings. In my past experinces with a few tracks if you call them and talk really really sweet they will wheel and deal with you ! Even into the next year when you can be there. Make friends with them by being nice and they will give you what you need. These tracks lose sooooooooooo much money you have no idea when shows are cancelled. So cut them slack - call them and talk sweet - work out a deal and JUST keep coming to your local tracks before they are all gone !

Its a case of "Damned if you do and Damned if you dont" When you pay your money next time read the sign that said " NO CASH REFUNDS" Everyone knew the forcast had rain in it and this is the chance you take when you go to a outside event. You either go and hope the rain stays away or you just dont go. If you go and its rained out then you made the choice to go. Quit *****ing dont you people get it that the Tracks in this area are having a hard time right now. It took guts for Kevin to put on a BIG show like this and for Ray also. I55 got lucky that they didnt get rained out last night. Stop being on PMS cuz the more you crab about these tracks the next sign you might see is either For Sale or CLOSED DOWN instead of NO REFUNDS!!

Someone help me out here--
I have a yellow ticket stub from Friday's cancelled event.

what's all this talk about a rain event ticket?? Did I miss something on the way out???

I asked the ticket guy when I left what I needed for a rain check and all he told me was "your ok with your stub"

what's the deal????

I very rarely get in on this type of arguments but racing itself is an unknown all the time whether you are a race fan, a driver or promoter. Nobody from kevin and tammy to the fans all the way to the drivers wanted this to happen but there is absolutley nothing anyone could have done to prevent the rain. Everyone knew there was a chance of rain and everyone took a chance on going and not knowing if they would be able to get it in. Unfortunatly it was a lose lose situation for kevin. If he would have called it early in the day because of the chance of rain and save everyone there $30 then you would have people mad about that. You just cant win for losing in this sport unfortunatly. Hopefully they can meet somewhere in the middle to make SOME people happy cause you cant please everyone. JMO Matt Hancock

Well, there was a small crowd to begin with (800 or so if I had to guess)...all those people that decided to stay home were smarter than I was.

In this scenario, the track promoter gets the blame for not doing more to get the show in. The next time when all the people on here complaining don't go to a big show when rain is threatening, the fans will be to blame for not showing up.

I think all dirt tracks should have a retractable dome. Or heaters beneath the dirt.

i have been around racing my whole life from spectating to competing and I will say me and my crew will not be back to TCS. I have been to many tracks where it rained hard and they still ran, it didnt rain very hard friday night the track crew just parked the trucks and gave up. That track wasnt that wet. If i drive 10 hours to race i want to race, as for the fans who paid $30 dollars to get in i hope they reschedule it for you guys if not i would be getting my money back because if a regular night costs $12 dollars in my book thats either 2 races with a $6 dollar voucher or they let you in for 3 races and bite the bullet. This track is going to have to do something to win back the fans. As for you guys telling people to quit complaining you guys must obviously not care about how you spend your money. I think a little more effort should have been put forth. We stayed at the track that night and it quit raining about 20 min after they called it. I think everyone learned that when it comes to money everyone is greedy, and we obviously know who got rich, because i paid an entry fee and spent about twice the amount with no refund.

But it rained afterwards too. They knew it would be a washout and dont blame tri city as a whole. WOO was in on the decision as well id bet. I agree with . 1 1/2 hours of rain.....plus more that CAME wasnt going to cut it.

Who’s cryin?????? I ain’t -----Just asked a simple question--- would only require a civil response!!!!!!!  

Why come here and cry and bi&^% about tri-city even if kevin cant reschedule i have a free pit-pass to use at a up coming show and you have a free ticket to use...

Yes we have free tickets and pit passes. For races I was not planning on going to. I paid to see the World of Outlaws. Not a midget , crate or modified show. Late Models. Yes the mania has late models, not the caliber of which I paid to see, nor the purse. I do not blame the track or the outlaws, i am glad they tried everthing they could, it did not work. My deal is that was the last big late model show of the year there and the only time the outlaws would be @ granite. Yes it is my fault for going, but I was not going to miss it.

TCS has posted the details of the rain checks. You will be able to receive full refund for your WOO ticket or use the full value of the WOO ticket for future events. I will be the first to applaud TCS for stepping up. So much so, I will probably attended this weeks Modified show to support the track. Hopefully other tracks follow this policy as well. Well done TCS!

Well, are the people who were on here *****in and moaning going to say anything positive now? I will guess the answer will be no.

To me it appears they are going above and beyond to take care of the fans.

Kudos, TCS.

Thank you Kevin and Tammy for putting an end to all this "caterwauling" on here about the tickets.
My request for my refund is in the mail, but that don't mean I won't be back to your track. It's a great place to watch a race. Thanks!!!! --------the "no1drtcrfn"
