Good racing last night in the sportsmans and in all of the classes really. But the sportsmans really showed up in force last night, which was great to see and I think made a statement to show they really would like to be there next year.

Also wanted to say congratulations to Jason Stanton in the orange and black 51. He doesn't get on here, but he made the show (well, barely, but he got in! lol...) in his first night in a sportsman and ran pretty good in the feature once he started to get the hang of it. Would love to see him run one more often, I think he could be pretty fast with more seat time.

Great show last night, really glad I was able to be there.:)
 
I woulda thought there woulda been more with no other tracks runnin', but I agree they put on a decent race. No need to have all those classes on a special night. Too long a nite.
 
Sportsman

For a $500 to win purse, being only a last minute support class, I think 40 cars in the Sportsman was extrodinary! After the class was dropped and a lot of feelings were hurt last year, I think it shows a lot of class on the part of the people who put all that behind them and showed up. Not a lot of cautions - clean hard racing. Give the Sportsman a place to run and they will be there!!!!!

We would have been one more car had Wade's sister not planned her wedding on the same day..haven't these people figured out the acceptable dates for things like this..lol..wish we could have gone, I really wanted to check out the new track..oh well, maybe next year
 
Sportsman Results?

This is all I can find on the Sportsman results....what about the Heat races and Semis/Consis? Can anyone give me all the names of the drivers who showed up? I have most of the finishes, but like to verify and complete my results. Thanks. :D

I'VE TALKED TO A COUPLE OTHERS THAT SAID THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE ALSO, IF NOT FOR PRIOR COMMITMENTS.

TCS IS A TOP NOTCH FACILITY. KEVIN AND TAMMY HAVE DONE GREAT SO FAR WITH WHAT THEY HAVE DONE. I SURE HOPE WHAT THE ANNOUNCER WAS SAYING ABOUT THE TOWER BEING MOVED IS TRUE THIS TIME. THAT WILL MAKE IT MUCH BETTER. THE ONLY FAULT I HAVE WITH THEM IS THE SHOWS RUNNING LONG. THAT CAN BE FIXED THOUGH, HOPEFULLY THEY WILL.

WE SUPPORTED TCS THE THREE YEARS PRIOR TO THE SPORTSMAN BEING DROPPED, AND WE WOULD COME RACE AGAIN IF THEY RETURN.
 
We'll have complete results including heats and semi's sometime on Friday. That is when the girl that does the scoring will be back to the track to send them from the track's computer.
 
Am I going to see you Saturday Debbie? Drumsticks...... Ray needs to know so he can get enough for us all................................ :D Are you paying attention Ray ????????? She has to let us know.....
 
Yes, I'm planning to be there Saturday night -- I have to get my HUG from Dean Hoffman! If Bruce decides not to go with me, I'm coming without him! I sure hope Ray doesn't go back on his promise to us, know what I mean, Ray? You'd better be prepared for Lisa and me, the dynamic duo!

Jimmy is planning to race in Indiana -- another famous road trip of his! I guess I'll have to keep everyone up-to-date on his new adventure. He's always in search of another track to race, another road trip to give me more gray hairs! :eek:
 
Let me know if you need a place to sit-- I think Pastaman is going, have to see but you can sit by us. You know the offer ALWAYS stands. You just need to take us up on it. :D
 
I just might take you up on that this time. :eek: Are you ready for me? I don't know if my Waterloo friends are coming this week, so I may be all alone up there. :D Thanks for the offers. ;)

I sure hope Ray sees this. I'm ready for a drumstick! :D
 
Bring your Waterloo friends with you ... :) Pastaman won't scare them to bad..... :eek: And yes we are always ready for you... :) I hope Ray is listening as well sure would hate the see the little guy go down from the wrath of Bomber Momma :eek: :eek: Poor guy... He will see how tuff Chip's job is now LOL!!!!!!!! :)
