30 drivers started today at the "motor mile" in Virginia testing in asphalt late models. Trista and 15 others will advance to testing "busch East" cars tomorrow. Trista did a great job today clocking her fastest time of 16.71 (by my stopwatch) she had never seen the track before and they don't let the drivers see other drivers test. The format was jump in this car and run 20 laps. She ran well enuff to advance where 6 more drivers will be cut. I sure wish I would have taken her to test this track but my late model was getting re-front clipped. The last 2 weeks this track was rented everyday by d4d participants and I got just a little lazy. Live and learn but Trista pulled it off anyway, I am really proud of her today!
