Local racer Trista Stevenson has launched a new website! The address is the same, but it has a new look, with up to date information, stats and photos. You can also join her message board and show your support for this awesome young lady who's not afraid to mix it up with the boys on the track!
For those of you not familiar with Trista she has a storied racing career in the St. Louis Area, starting her journey at I-70 QMA in a quarter midget at the age of 5. After winning track and regional point championships in quarters, she moved on to the Sportsman class, racing and winning at local tracks like Tri-City Speedway, Highland, and Fayette County. In 2005 she was voted St. Louis Racing Area, "New Comer of the Year".
In 2006 she found her way to victory lane in a $750 to win Sportsman race at Tri-City Speedway besting 37 other competitors. She finished 2nd in the points that year. Also in 2006 Trista raced a Crate Late Model for Allen Kreke Motor Sports, and qualified into the Super Late Model Young Guns Race at Oglethorpe Speedway, her first time ever in a Super Late Model.
In 2007 and 2008 she was accepted into the NASCAR Drive For Diversity Program, and graduated from the Lyn St. James Women in the Winners Circle Program, where she was a Jump Start Scholarship Recipient.
In 2009 Trista will be competing in her Asphalt Late Model as well as a Super Truck in the United States Super Truck Racing Challenge Series.
