TruSpeed Inc. has signed on as the new promoters of Farmer City Raceway as of December 17, 2004. TruSpeed Inc. consists of Don Hammer, Kevin Hammer, and Bonny Hammer. We would first like to thank everyone for their overwhelming support as we take on this opportunity. We are very excited and are looking forward to the 2005 racing season. Being large supporters of Farmer City Raceway for many years, our goal is to continue the excellent tradition of providing a raceway that is both entertaining for fans and competitive for racers. Don will be attending upcoming trade shows at Springfield, Bloomington and Peoria and will be available to answer questions that anyone may have regarding rules, sanctioning, etc. A Tentative practice date is scheduled for Sunday, April 3rd with a full schedule starting on April 8th. We are trying to work in another practice before the 8th, possibly on a Saturday as Easter falls early this year ( March 27). A complete schedule will be posted as soon as dates are finalized.
