In A Emergency meeting Saturday Morning The Talker Guy was Fired from Belleville because he refused to work on Sundays. He Has Been Replaced by April Loof who has done track announcing at several unknown tracks throughout the Midwest. Stay tuned for more detalils as they become available.

Is this a APRIL FOOL'S JOKE,,, if so it's a good one,,,,,, where will belle-vegas be without him......
 
Just so everyone is clear on this matter, it really wasn't about working Sundays, it was about taking off today for my wife's birthday.

I asked if I could get off. I was told "no".

I asked my wife if I could skip her birthday party. She said "no".

The rest is history.

and mike jumps up from the announcer box tonite and yells april fools...whew, either this is a good joke or a bad day for belleclair.

Ok folks anyone else notice that April Loof.... Loof spelled backwards is FOOL... Hopefully this is a joke. Mike is one of the best announcers out there even if he gets on my nerves sometimes!!!
 
I don't know what this is all about , but The Talker Guys explanation is pretty shallow, Does any one know of anyone that is excused from work for thier Wife's or Husbands birthday.

Its a JOKE....something you probably wouldnt know about since you are about the most negative person on here.
 
Well I thought it was until I seen the post by TTG and his post was so consistent with the illogical and irrational thought I have become so accustom to seeing on here that I thought perhaps it was true.
 
good riddence,,lets get my buddy glen jocoby in the booth,,that is if he can keep his dentures in===LOL,,,really NO ONE CAN REPLACE TTG....

Ok It was an April Fools Joke. You got Me!!! Mike is at Belleville FOREVER!! This was a much scaled down version of my original idea to post "In an emergency meeting of the board it was decided that due to the expected car count and early curfew at Belleville Pure Stocks will not be allowed to race on Sunday nightl" Would this have lit up the board or what. Happy April Fools Day everyone and see you next year on April 1st. BE READY
