St. Louis International Motorcycle Festival this weekend!

For the first time in St. Louis, the Moto Museum will open its doors to the public with its presentation of "The History of the Motorcycle." This exhibition will present 100 motorcycles, spanning 100 years, exhibiting the full-range in the evolution and the design of motorcycles. Within the exhibition will be motorcycles manufactured from over 20 different countries including unique and unusual motorcycles from Poland, Russia, Denmark and Switzerland, to name a few.

The exhibition will predominantly feature the private collection of the Moto Museum, which for this event only and for the first time, will be opened to the public. In addition, we will include numerous motorcycles on loan from private collections throughout the United States, brought together exclusively for this event. In all, over 75 different motorcycle manufacturers will be represented in this exhibition.

"The History of the Motorcycle" exhibition is the centerpiece of the St. Louis International Motorcycle Festival. In addition, the Festival will include vendor booths, riding exhibitions, dealer displays, motorcycling movies and videos, food, drink and music all occurring on the streets surrounding the Moto Museum. The Festival will be a four day celebration of all aspects of motorcycling.

Previously released - Meet Chip Ellis Thursday, May 3rd.

Doc's has entered into a one year agreement for associate sponsorship with G2 Motorsports in support of Chip Ellis in the Pro Stock Motorcycle category of the NHRA.

This is Doc's first national sponsorship on the professional level for an entire schedule of national events and a natural step for a group who loves and lives racing. As big fans of motorcycles as well as the four wheeled variety in the NHRA, we look forward to following Chip's progress through the year and invite you to root him on to success.

In the past, Doc's has sponsored a number of local drag racers as well as some national names including Chip last year when he won the 2006 O' Reilly Nationals at Gateway International Raceway with Doc's on board.

Doc's will continue sponsoring Adler Motorsports in the Sprint Car arena, Scott Weber on the dirt track and continue to support our in-house racing team at local and regional events, including our own talented and record setting Danny Arnold.

Doc's wishes to thank everyone who has played a part in our love of racing in the past including, but not limited to, Danny Arnold, Ray Devine, Andy Horn, Kurt Gallina, Bob Pannell, Jim Aufderheide, Terry Poovey (get well soon), Mike Hacker, Robbie Hall, Scott and Tina Weber, Daniel, Mike and Tom Adler (Adler Motorsports), George Smith (G2), George Bryce (G2) and Chip Ellis as well as everyone at G2 Motorsports, Mike Romine, Mike Lozano and Mark Conner (everyone at Conner Racing) and a VERY SPECIAL THANKS to Tim Becker for all your hard work and dedication and our own Jim Wagner, we couldn't have done it without you.
