Ultimate Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series Is Announced

CARNESVILLE, GA – Fastrak Companies International, LLC has announced its newest touring series with the Ultimate Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series. The announcement was made Tuesday night by Fastrack/Ultimate President of Communications Roby Helm on the Fastrak Live Forum web cast on Facebook Live from the Fastrak Racing Series Facebook Page.

“The Fastrak and Ultimate family of racing series is proud to announce for formation of the Ultimate Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series,” Helm said. “Fastrak has named Robbie Cyrus of Beckley, WV as the Ultimate MOV Director for the new series that will sanction Super Late Model dirt track racing in Southern Ohio and West Virginia.”

The Ultimate MOV Tour is the second spin-off series from the Ultimate Super Late Model Series that will continue to sanction races in the Southeastern United States under the direction of Kelley Carlton, who will also assist Cyrus with the Ultimate MOV Tour. The Ultimate MOV Tour will also be run in conjunction with the AMRA Tour.

“Over the last 20 years, Robbie Cyrus has performed in many motorsports officiating positions, and I felt it was time to offer him a chance to direct this new series,” Fastrak/Ultimate Founder and CEO Stan Lester said. “Robbie is well-known and well-connected in Ohio and West Virginia, and I know he’ll do a good job working with the AMRA as well as all of the tracks and racers.”

The 2017 Ultimate SLMS Schedule has been posted at www.fastrakracing.com, and will begin on March 4 at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, GA. The Ultimate Battle of the Bluegrass Super Late Model Series was formed last season and will continue to sanction races in Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana with D.J. Irvine directing the tour in 2017.

Cyrus and Irvine will be working on getting the 2017 Schedules together for the Ultimate Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series Tour and the Ultimate Battle of the Bluegrass Super Late Model Series Tour. AMRA drivers that compete in Ultimate MOV races will also receive AMRA points.

“We are trying to keep our Super Late Model Series’ competing on a regional basis in an effort to keep the travel expenses down for the race teams,” Lester said. “Our goal is to keep the tracks in each region within a three-hour radius of the center of the region.”

The Ultimate Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series web site and Facebook page is currently under construction and it is expected to be online in the coming weeks. Until then, Ultimate MOV news and information can be found at the other Fastrak/Ultimate web sites at www.fastrakracing.com.
