UMP Dirt Car Roundup

How many of you all will be running in this at I55 this march? I am hoping to and it will be my first year. is this a pretty good/fun event?:rolleyes:

Although that would be some good entertainment, for sure...
 
I'm planning on being there either with the new car or the neon from last year gonna try to bring a couple with me if possible ........

It went pretty good last year. Being you're gonna be new, being on the bigger track may give you some room for possible error (not necessarily on your part) while you get familiar in and with the car. Just a thought and good luck!
 
I just bought my UMP membership, but my neon is geared to low. Maybe Tristan will let me run his tiburon.:)
 
they make two different geared trans. for a neon I ran ours on a bigger track than this alot and didn't have a problem

I have a 96 neon dohc. the tranny broke the last night of racing at tri-city. I replaced the tranny with one from a 98 neon sohc. Will that be a different geared tranny?
 
The 4-cyl entry fee is $20 and all drivers must possess a valid 2009 or 2010 DIRTcar license or single event permit. Single Event License, if needed, is available for $20. All other info can be found at umpdirtcarroundup.com

sound's like this will be a lot of fun . What exact set of rules are they going by are they gonna work with people to get all cars possible to run ?
 
I wanna know when the heck I get to drive one of the celica's crump, geez i mean I am no Chris Fisher....
 
for someone who has never won at 55 you sure do talk a lot of smack tato head, guess thats just how your outfit does things
 
Ahhh, the days are getting warmer, the smell of blooming flowers is in the air, the track is getting ready to open, and Josh and Tater are throwing insults at each other once again.

Spring has truly arrived. Man, I love spring.
