Farmer City, IL — June 18, 2009 — Late afternoon showers that rolled through the Farmer City Raceway grounds have forced the cancellation of what was to be Night 7 of the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals Tour.
No makeup was immediately announced for the 40-lap, $10,000-to-win race, although UMP DIRTcar and track officials were discussing possible dates.
The rainout was the third of the 2009 version of the “Hell Tour”.
The UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals Tour is set to resume Saturday night June 20th at Clarksville Speedway (Tenn.) for a 40 Lap $10,000 to win event.
Defending Champion Dennis Erb holds a three point lead after his second win on the month long tour Wednesday night at Belle Clair Speedway in Belleville,IL.
