Ryan Unzicker, Jacob Poel, Abe Huls, Joey Gower and Austen Bercerra all took feature event wins at Quincy Raceways during the 2014 opening night on Sunday April 20 during the ALMS Late Model Special Event. Ryan Unzicker jumped into the early lead of the forty lap Sunoco ALMS feature event with Bobby Pierce in hot pursuit. Pierce would work Unzicker high and low until finally making the pass for the lead coming off turn four on the twenty seventh lap. Pierce would then pull out to a small lead with Unzicker hot on his heels. Pierce looked to have the event well in hand until crossing the finish line on the thirty second lap when his engine quit giving the lead back to Unzicker. Unzicker then managed to hold off a hard charging Kevin Weave to take the $2000 winner check with Weaver in second followed by Jason Riggs in third, Denny Woodworth in fourth and Mark Burgtorf in fifth.
