After careful consideration as well as to clear up any confusion on the previously released Late Model tire rule the updated 2015 tire rule will be as follows:

Tri-City Speedway 2015 Late Model Tire Rule will be as follows:
RR - Hoosier L/M 40 ONLY!
Must Durometer the Minimum of 60 at all times!

LR, LF & RF - Hoosier L/M 20 or L/M 40

Ive said for the past several years that Kevin and Gang needs to run I-55 but eh...what do i know ?
 
Been an Allied fan for years, they have done a lot for the sport in this area in the past. But now they are on C. n C.

I'm confused why the change? This will have little effect on the cost of racing?

It sounds as if I-55 will go with the same Late Model tire rule as Tri-City.. Hoosier LM40 only on RR.. LM20 & LM40 allowed on the other 3 corners.
 
The deal is if I55 goes with the same rule as try city, are they goanna enforce it? theres no reason to have it if its not goanna be enforced and that means every driver that includes the allied favorites

Don't be such an ass. They were first to go to 20/40 only rule. They will enforce 40 only on right rear.
 
If any other tracks are going to do this they need to announce it quick if you haven't bought your tires yet it would help.
 
So, is the rule you must run the same 40 all night, or you can put on a new 40 on before every race.

L/M 20 – Must Durometer 40 minimum before race
L/M 40 – Must Durometer 60 minimum before race
No treated tires/ tire prep/soaking /solicitation of tire preps/ possession of tire preps allowed.
Tire sniffing –sample testing or confiscation of tires will be at the Race Directors discretion.right off I 55s website
 
Hound what will be considered tire prep is simple green or how about dawn maybe wd40 cause I carry these with me weekly to the track and all are a form of prep
