Please tell us what a Rochester carb gauge has to do with a Holley 4412???

I can assure you that his carb and entire car for that matter is 100% legal always has been. You just like to make up shit as you go because he isn't in your little Allied Clique. Been playing the game for along time I know how it is. Like I said before might want to take a look at some other cars instead. For instance saying his pull bar is illegal. It hasn't been illegal for the past 5 years.

Lol, they probably just made It up to get the car count down. :-/ I'm glad to see them teching. Nothing against 19.

They teched my carb last year and said it was illegal but i have the same carb on this year an it passed through tech just fine this year . An it was the same way with my buddys carb as well. Seems funny dont it.

Main reason I quit being a tech guy was because a board member told me I could not tech the winner of sportsman race because "he new he was legal". Always defended Allied before then, that stuff like favorites and special circumstances never accord but after that, and knowing what goes on behind the scenes it really makes you wonder about the motives and agendas of some people.

I seen this happen 1st hand over the past 25+ yrs....Allied making sure "regulars" are taken care, I would be mad if they didn't, been mad when they wasn't, and been happy when it was us... but i can seen where people get mad when they see someone come and dominate a class and then not get tech'd..now with your deal I would of tore that car down so good he would of taking it home in boxes :) its a tough call when your running a business and keeping 100+ different people coming back each week. But this should be left up to the drivers and car owners to set some sort of rule for Leniency and a penalty if it goes to far

Never got a chance to tear it down I sent him to tech area to be checked the board member told him to go on and load it up he was good, then when I said no I want to check him that's when I was told he knew he was legal. Quit then and have not been back to a track since. An organization can only be as good as its leaders, there are many that do it for the right reasons and for the good of the sport, however there are others that do it to keep up there power trip egos, and do anything they can to help the chosen few. I commend the ones that do it for the sport, and maybe someday they can weed out the ones who have other agendas.

I was lucky enough to race at I-55 for many years and have been on both sides of the Allied arguments, but guys until you get out and travel to a lot of other tracks as a driver and a car builder you really don't know how good we got it. The allied organization has put in probably more time and effort to be fair and consistent and give to the drivers and fans then any other out there, thank you Allied! Now go make that thing legal and have fun! Brian W.
