USAC Sprints make 1st ever visit to I-55

This Saturday will be the first time ever USAC Sprints have raced on the highbanks of I-55!! Can't wait to see it.

The only other USAC event ever held at I-55 was back in 1988 when USAC sanctioned late models.

Plus it pays $6000 to win and $600 to start. Hoping for a solid field of cars since they will be at Tri-City the night before as well.
 
Really looking forward to this show as well.... the slide jobs on the Pevely high banks will be crazy good with these cars. My guess is low 20's in the car count... just so many tracks in Indiana running non wing cars on a weekly basis
 
With it being a back to back show for the USAC National Sprint Car Series, I am hoping for car counts in the 30s.
