Malden, MO - Thirty five cars from four states Time trialed and raced at Malden Speedway during the 1st Annual Bootheel 200 pole night. Troy Fowler from nearby Portageville, Missouri set fast time of 19.592 around the 3/8 mile clay oval. Fowler was the only car to qualify with a lap below the 20 second mark. The 12-lap qualifying races followed the time trials and were won by; Austin Matthews, Tim Winchester,, Robert Powers and Tony Anglin.
