O’Reilly USCS Sprints Columbus Clash Coming June 4th!
Plus Modified and Street Stock Championships!
COLUMBUS, MISSISSIPPI-The next event at Columbus Speedway will be on June 4th with the “Columbus Clash” for the O’Reilly USCS Winged Outlaw Sprint Cars after taking a brief hiatus during the month of May. The big event will also feature a $1,000 to win Championship for the Open Wheel Modifieds and also a $500 to win Championship for the Street Stocks. All local divisions will be in action.
The USCS “Columbus Clash” should include many of the top Sprint Car drivers from across the Midsouth region along with top drivers from Georgia and Florida. The race will be both a USCS National and Midsouth region point’s event. In addition to the Winged Sprint Cars, the competitive Open Wheel Modifieds will go 20-lap with a $1,000 top prize on the line that should be a great show in itself, while the Street Stock “Thundering Herd” will go 20-laps for $500 to win. The combination of Championship events, the USCS Sprints, and the Heavy Metal divisions should make for a super night of entertainment at the Baddest Bullring in the South.
Weekly action is then expected to return to Columbus Speedway on June with a revamped program featuring the Columbus Speedway local divisions.
Event information for June 4th has grandstand gates opening at 5pm with racing at 8:00pm. Adult grandstand admission is $15 with children 10 and under old admitted free. Pit passes are $25. Lawn chairs and coolers are welcome. Pit gates open at 4pm with the driver’s meeting at 6:30pm with hot laps to follow.
