This is probably the best post you've ever made. The only reason i said USRA was because they are the ones having the "informational" meeting in the area. I am open to IMCA also. The thing with IMCA is they dont play around...they put out a set of rules and if you choose not to abide by those rules they are more than happy to show you where the gate is! I am for that also. We need a sanctioning body who is willing to do that. Right now with U.M.P we have nothing in the support class's. I myself dont know enough about USRA but i do have some people i have been talking to that run USRA and im not totally convinced they are the right way to go just yet. Now IMCA im convinced wont mess around. I have a couple friends who run IMCA up in Iowa and have been watching whats going on here and they tell me all the time..(yea IMCA wouldnt put up with half of that). Another problem you have here is some tracks play favortism. Whether you want to admit it or not they do. I can tell you a track that does and show you that it does but thats for another day and time. And right now we dont need that. If you are caught illegal then you need to be punished for that and right now we arent getting that. IMCA seems to keep things in check and their car counts are 5 times better than ours. Obviously they are doing something right. I just know we as fans, drivers, car owners, track promotors and track owners can no longer sit back and let it go! Something has to be done now! The times of just brushing it under the rug and doing nothing about it has caught up to us and its time to change. It obvious a few tracks in the area realize something...why else would they do what they done this year with the support class's and the membership? Its now time to put that plan in action and get the ball rolling!
