I am in need of a cam that can pull 18" at 1000rpm Does anyone make and off the shelf or do i need to have one custom ground? Any suggestions on a good place to make on if i do? Im running a 358 500cfm 4412, flat tops, 76cc heads completley stock, has to be hydraulic flat tappet cam and lifters.

i would do some research, but i would end up with an early 70s chevy truck cam. probably a 3/4 ton truck cam, and run it 3 degrees advance. with a double roller chain. you will have tons of grunt off the corner. gear it accordingly, because it will be all done at about 5000 rpm. it will wind higher, but torque curve will be flat, and useless any higher. this is all stock stuff.
