Van Horn tops Tuesday qualifier for Hobby Stocks at IMCA Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 2) – Dustin Van Horn raced his way to a front row start in Saturday’s main event with a win in the final IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s qualifier for Hobby Stocks.
Van Horn started seventh in the Tuesday feature at Boone Speedway and took the checkers ahead of Austin Luellen and David Rieks.
Rounding out the top eight drivers advancing to the outside row for the big show on Saturday are Kyle Bond, Colby Langenberg, Corey Madden, Jeremy Auten and Matt Olson.
Madden had started 19[sup]th[/sup], Langenberg 21[sup]st[/sup] and Olson 26[sup]th[/sup].
Bond will start his fourth straight Super Nationals main event; Madden also makes his fourth career Saturday start.
Van Horn is in for the third time, Luellen, Rieks and Langenberg each for the second and Auten and Olson both for the first.
The final six cars will be added to the main event field through last-chance qualifying Wednesday afternoon.
