That's kinda what I was thinking when they first made the announcement. Suspension-wise, these things aren't a whole lot different than a street stock. They just have twice the motor. They do seem to run pretty well though. The one full lap that I caught was in the 19-20 second range. I would think that's pretty respectable for a first test. I just wonder how drastically that will slow down in traffic. This will be one of the few NASCAR races that I watch next year though. I'm curious how they are going to deal with certain issues that will arise, mud on the windshields, pit stops, etc. I just wonder if this is going to turn into a deal like the road courses, now half of the truck teams will have a dirt track specialist behind the wheel for this race. All things aside, I would have loved to see Smoke get up on the wall and grind the spoiler off of that thing.
They ran 2 different trucks. I figured they had 2 different bumper setups. I'd say they will have a front bumper setup similar to a late model where the bottom is radiused towards the right front.I noticed after they unloaded it they changed tires and there was a splitter on the truck..... then on the track it had been ripped off.....and the right front was chewed up a bit... then later the the right front was fixed again.......what will the do about the whole splitter issue
