The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will be coming to you live over the internet this Sunday Afternoon, September 25 from the West Virginia Motor Speedway in Mineral Wells, WV. "The Legends of the Fall 50" will be on tap with the live broadcast beginning at 4 PM Eastern Time. VP Racing Fuels will present via www.RaceTalkLive.com the action from the 5/8ths mile speedplant. The broadcast will pick up wherever the race program is at and stay until the conclusion of the $10,000 to win main event.
Race fans who cannot attend the event in person can go to the series webpage at www.naradirtcar.com and click on the RaceTalkLive.com link, then proceed to the Lucas oil Late Model Dirt Series logo and click that to listen to the live broadcast. At West Virginia Motor Speedway this weekend will be a twin bill of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series action with a complete show both Saturday and Sunday. Oval Craft Racing Aluminum Designs Time Trials, VP Fuels Makin' Power Heat Races, Mason Racin' Rebel Shock Dyno and PPM Racing Products B-Mains will take place both days. Saturday's Tribute 30 will pay $7,000 to win and Sunday's Legends of the Fall 50 will pay $10,000 to win. Sunday's event will be taped for ESPN2.
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series has a tight points battle going on with only 65 points separating first and second place drivers Don O'Neal and Earl Pearson, Jr. Donnie Moran last weekend's Pittsburgher 100 winner is 175 points out of first. Matt Miller, who led most of the race at Pittsburgh last week is fourth followed by Scott James.
