Yea i found it but hes talking about Friday night in Belleville and Dirtboys talking about Saturday night at Highland......two different instances here i believe. Either way right is right and wrong is wrong. If he didnt pay at Highland then they ate wrong for allowing him to do that when all the local regulars have to pay

good point about that was Friday night. Special treatment has been given forever in motorsports to big name drivers for drawing them to their tracks. I believe its called "show money". Its its agreed upon by the track and driver beforehand i dont see a problem with it. If they just show up at a track i think they should pay. Jmo
 
Personally I could care less if they paid or not. When I still raced and my wife was an official with an extra pit pass not one time did I use the free pass to get in or any of my help in. My theory being that if I'm going to race for their money then I'm going to pay my way in.

So why did you cheat so much? ;)
 
i will say that giving any 'free pit passes' to certain 'big draw' drivers because of their POTENTIAL fan draw on single nights is a total slap in the face to a track's loyal drivers that sometimes bring 20-30 fans EACH night all year long. simple fix? give all drivers free pit passes since they are the entertainers for the night.
 
Wether they pay or don't pay is up to whatever agreement they have with the individual track. You guys all keep up your *****in' and maybe they won't be back at all. Appreciate what you have before its gone.

I hope they keep coming back myself. Two great guys that have a fierce love for racing. At any level.
