Skip Berger or Matt Murphy.

both extremely smart and some of the best around.

If you're interested, I'll pm their numbers to you.

Call Parts Stop In medowbrook ask for Claude. They build alot of tractor pulling motors there number is 618-377-5238

What you're wanting to build will be extremely easy. Use the Speed Pro forged blower pistons or something similar, your choice of connecting rod but I would probably use a Scat 7/16 bolt I beam, an Eagle or Scat H beam or even a stocker will be ok. Heads don't have to be anything special so what you have will work pretty well. Use a forged crank and double key the snout. Use a chrome moly blower hub not a balancer. A production block will be plenty adequate. You'll need to get a good small cap distributor and as far as the cam goes I would use something with mid 240's at .050 duration, 114 lobe sep in the engine without much advance.

Get some carburetors that are set up for blower use. On Holleys this means having boost referenced power valves, two Predators will also run very well but they are intimidating to some people.

An engine like this should be able to make enough horsepower to run 10's in a 3500lb car without much trouble and without having to rev it more than about 6000rpm.

Give Dyno Tech a call at 618-259-0979 and ask for jamie he has a blown dragster he runs and builds great motors.

Thanks to all that replied, Dave you have hit it on the spot,,,I have a 671 blower I bought from Jegs with a msd box and a billet dist low cap that has a msd box for it also, the msd box for the dist talks to it under a load to retard timing for better performance, I have everything but the rotating Assembly that is where I need help,,I have about $4500 tied up in boxes of new stuff want to get the ball rolling,,, it is going in a Monte Carlo ss,,

What is your project? No real info that an engine builder needs is given. What fuel, block, boost amount, heads, end use drag or street, and most important budget?

The project is a 84 MONTE CARLO SS sm block 350, want to run pump gas boost 7lbs bost max street use, maybe some track use, the 350 I have now is over 8-1,, would like to sell it itwould make a real nice street stock motor runs real strong,, going to start with another block,, I have no heads for the other motor yet, budget well thats what I am trying to see what it will cost to have someone build what I need, thanks,,,kinda lost,,,

To do it correctly you're looking at 7000 give or take a little for the long block minus intake and carb. That would be forged crank, H-beam rod, forged blower piston, hydraulic roller, dart pro-1 aluminum heads, block prep with splayed caps. I would build it as a 383 since the rotating assembly is roughly the same price as a 350.
