He had Martin passed right as the yellow came out...Martin, the veteran driver he is, made the right line adjustments and held on for the win...great Late Model feature with 27 cars signed into the pits.

The battle for 3rd was pretty damn good for about 20 laps...about 6 cars all for 3rd.

That was a super performance you put on last night Vince. You had Frankie beat without the caution but with your luck the caution changed that. Lots of good luck in the future. Good clean racing to the finish, so congrats to Frankie and Vince on one hell of a show. Who says Godfrey has all the good racers when Belleville has 27 entries and Godfrey can't even get an 18 car field (only 15)? By the way Congrats to Fireball on his 10th place finish at Godfrey.
 
yep that last caution hurt us but it was a great race with frankie, he got out from us a little bit but able to reel him back in and move to the outside of him and go for the pass at the start finish line. Yellow flags live and die by them , great clean racing with frankie, and what an incredible lm car count wow 26 never been so tough to make the weekly shows at belle-clair before but it has been great racing this whole season.
 
Congrats on an awesome run Vince Good Luck on the rest of the year and keep it up.. Great car count to so all you godfrey fans come on down this way for a change great racing plenty of cars...

I definitely second that remark. What an awesome feature and a super field of late models. 26 cars were a record for a regular belleville show this year. Hope to see them all back next week. Vince, you certainly were hooked up and we thank you for going for the glory and putting on a great race! You usually do!

Congrats!! Sounds like it was a good race.
But if i may say, Godfrey LM all ways put on a great race. It dont matter how many cars are there its the drivers we get out there. Melvin Dixon Taylor Zobrist Collins Faust there is a hella show!!!!!

Seems luck is something Vince is lacking....lol....The pill draw has killed him this year. At Belle-Clair, good pill draw is important for sure.
 
the pill draw is very important and i am the guy who draws the pills numbers have been getting better have gone from the 100's into the 70's the past couple of weeks but still want that single digit number. plan on praying to the racing god's for better luck this week.......................LOL :D
