WDRL's Mr. Goodcents Super Series wraps up its first season

Blue Springs, Mo. (Oct. 21) _ The Mr. Goodcents Super Series, a World Dirt
Racing League touring series, wrapped up its first season on Oct. 11 and 12
at Crawford County Speedway in Denison, Iowa, with a fantastic show as the
PolyDome Super Late Models ran their only 100-lap race on the 2002 schedule.

Denny Eckrich held off charges by Ray Guss Jr., John Seitz and Brian Harris
to take the checkered flag in first place. This made Eckrich the 11th winner
in 12 PolyDomeSuper Late Model races in the very competitive series.

Winners for the 2002 season included Joe Kosiski at Davenport Speedway;
Terry Phillips at Lakeside Speedway; Kyle Berck at Nebraska Raceway Park¹s
May race and Crawford County Speedway¹s July race; Kelly Boen at Mid
Nebraska Raceway; Brian Birkhofer at State Fair Speedway in Des Moines;
Steve Kosiski at Park Jefferson Speedway; Pat Doar at Superior Speedway;
Gary Webb at Fayette County Speedway; Dan Schlieper at Pecatonica Speedway;
Darren Miller at Nebraska Raceway Park¹s October race; and, of course, Denny
Eckrich at the final event, Crawford County Speedway¹s October race.

There were 188 PolyDome Super Late Model cars and drivers who competed in
the series in the 12 races with an average car count of 35.9 per event.

The final point standings for the PolyDome Super LateModels:

Kyle Berck- 1594 points.
Joe Kosiski- 1502points.
Ed Kosiski- 1312 points.
Donnie McClellan- 1296 points.
Gary Webb- 1046 points.

The Kosiski Auto Parts Hammer Down final points:

Joe Kosiski- 72 points.
Kyle Berck- 55 points.
Donnie McClellan- 43 points.
Ed Kosiski- 40 points.
John Anderson- 40 points.

The Modified Division of the Mr. Goodcents Super Series contested seven
races this season with three different winners.

Ron Barker scored five wins, and Jeff Stephens and Dan Mueller had a win
apiece.

The Modified division of the Mr. Goodcents Super Series featured 187 cars
and drivers for the seven races with a car count average of 41.5 for the
2002 season.

The final point standings for the Modified Division of the Mr. Goodcents
Super Series:

Ron Barker- 896 points.
Mike Bennett- 780 points.
Jeremy Tibben- 770 points.
Scott Carlson- 756 points.
Martin Bennett- 712 points.

The Kosiski Auto Parts Hammer Down final points:

Martin Bennett- 45 points.
Scott Carlson- 37 points.
Mike Bennett- 29 points.
Jeremy Tibben- 28 points.
Chris Spieker- 26 points.
