(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Wendell Wallace Autosports announced today that they
will be moving their racing operations from the GRT Race Cars shop in
Greenbrier to Wendell’s race shop in Batesville. Despite some of the rumors
out there, Wendell will be piloting the GRT House Car again next year. The
team’s decision to move benefited both Wendell and GRT Race Cars.

“The move will be beneficial for everyone,” said Joe Garrison, GRT’s founder
and owner, today. “It will be more convenient for Wendell to keep the cars
at his shop instead of driving back and forth to Greenbrier all the time.
The move also frees up some much needed room here at GRT. No matter where
the shop is, Wendell will still drive the GRT House Car next year.”

Joe also indicated that Wendell and the team were probably done racing this
year and were already gearing up for the 2004 campaign. If something should
change regarding the racing plans of Wendell Wallace Autosports, you can

Wendell finished the 2003 with six victories, one of which was his second
Masters 100 title at Cedar Lake (WI) Speedway. He captured three
MARS-sanctioned wins on the season, along with a memorable UMP
Summernationals win at Mt. Vernon (IL) Speedway. He also finished second in
one of the premier Dirt Late Model events of the season, the Topless 100 at
Batesville (AR) Speedway. An overview of Wendell’s 2003 racing season
