(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Wendell Wallace picked up his second O'Reilly MARS
Series feature victory last Friday night at the Bolivar Speedway in Bolivar,
MO. The J&J Steel / JFR Graphics #88 GRT / Keith Craft Ford Taurus got out
front early and was never really challenged after that en route to the
$3,000 payday. Wendell is now leading the O'Reilly MARS Series point
standings after five events. The #88 was also scheduled to race on Saturday
in another $3,000 to win MARS Show at the I-44 Speedway in Lebanon, MO, but
that event was cancelled due to rain.

"That was a good win for us," said Wendell after the show on Friday at
Bolivar. "I got the lead early from those guys and then I was just able to
stay out in front. We have been running pretty well lately, hopefully we
can keep running strong this whole week at Batesville for the Alltel 100.
It would be nice to pick up that $100,000."

Wendell will be back behind the wheel of his GRT modified this week for the
$100,000 to win 'Alltel 100' at the Batesville Speedway in Locust Grove, AR.
"The Batesville Bullet" will compete in practice tonight and then in time
trials tomorrow night. Heat races and nightly features will be on tap for
Wednesday through Friday, with the States Race, Manufacturers Dash, and the
'Alltel 100' scheduled for Saturday. Wendell is one of two drivers that
have a guaranteed spot in the coveted event. He received that for winning
the $9,000 modified event at Batesville back in late March. You can get the
latest information concerning this week's big modified event at Batesville
Speedway at their website, located at www.batesvillespeedway.com.
