Just wanted to let everyone know if you want a fun place to go check out Wente's in chesterfield. Had a blast at the chilil bowl. I will be back. They made it a great evening out.
 
I'll go along with that one. Frist time I have been there since the early 1990's. Forgot what a nice place it is. Just normly to far from the house to go' BUT Thet are having a Daytona 500 party there in Feb. (as I was Told) Check with them to be sure. Had a great time last night THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT WAS WORKING THERE.
We sat right by the door and the best part of the night was when 2 guys walked in and looked around and said " There's no football on in here, Why dose everyone want to watch a race" It took everything I had to not tell him he was realy lost to think football would be on tonight. But for once I keep my mouth shut. I know hard to belive it it's true.
 
jen and i had a great time last night... good food, great racing on the tv, saw lots of folks that i had not seen in well over 20 years or so,ol' road ditch, the fredericks, and more; and saw some that i have seen recently. it's always fun to give the ol' dirthound some trouble.maybe someday he will come up with the t-shirt he owes me.... LOL! i brought a ceramic sprint car as a raffle prize, and the gentleman that won it was most appreciative; congrats to him. it's too bad the chili bowl only happens once a year; but,i guess that makes it all the more special when it does happen. thanks to terry wente and his fine staff for allowing us into his place, and doing the ppv races. art.

I know hard to believe it it's true. that was worth the trip in it's self great racing good friends great food and seeing the football fanactics get flusterd when they found out that no football tonight playoff or no playoffs and some guys come up to use my pen and couldn't get to work must've been to complicated also seeing the mc duffy's last night which was a treat

Thank you to all the race fans that came out, it was very nice to meet all of you! We hope to see you all for the Daytona 500 next month!
