What B-Mods would race TCS?

The Street Stocks made a push to get added and I think the b-mods could do the same. Whether its the weekend of the Midget Nationals or the Crate Championship weekend. What B-mod guys would go to Tri-City? Fulton is done for the year, as is MMSP, Doe Run is done after this weekend, Farmington is done after the 29th as well as Highland, and it also looks like Brownstown is done for the year too and Quincy's last race is the 30th. This leaves the SEVEN area tracks that run b-mods are all done for the year and the b-mod guys would like a place to race! I was at Fulton and MMSP last weekend and had numerous people ask if we knew of anywhere running b-mods after this weekend and the answer is no! Last year when TCS ran B's they got 28 cars for $400 to win!! Sounds like a win win situation especially with more area tracks running them this year! Myself and Ryan Middaugh will be there if we can get something done, so let's do it!

I have spoken with Tammy already on this.We are going to try to put something together .I have 10-12 cars from Farmington going to make the trip-maybe more after this weekend. So stay tuned for up coming info on this-----thanks ---Jim Randolph----Also I had a nice conversation with a few at MMSP this last Saturday after the races.

Awesome. Hope we can get something going. I too talked to some guys at MMP and a lot of them are interested. I'd bet on 10-12 cars from Fulton coming as well. I don't think they'd have any problem at all pulling cars.

I wish the Gundakers would quit adding these rolling demolition derby classes to their special programs. If they want to have them on their weekly shows that is fine, but their special events are already way too long.

Not sure how b-mods are a rolling demolition derby class. It's an affordable class for the guys who can't spend 30 grand on an a mod...We'd just like a place to race! We were at TCS last year and it was a good show.

what if any rules??? 2 barrel carbs,,A and H tires,,what are they going to weigh??? i ran last year n had a good time..prolly get some highland cars

I am sorry for your thaughts fryefan---The bmods are NOT a demoderby!!!!!If you are that set against them dont go---I cannot think of anyone that would miss you.-----------I will call Tammy again tomorrow and try to get things going for a set date and some of the rules----thanks ---jim

talked with highland group count on 6 to 10 cars from there at least probably would also pull few from brownstown also

also brownstown or fayette county suppose to have a 2 day show first weekend in oct. along with another 2 day show last weekend in oct

Brownstown and fayette county, are those both 3-link tracks for the b-mods? Just wondering cause i am on farmington rules(4-link), but would be intrested in going to one of those weekend races...

b-town n fayette co are the same track,,they are supposed to be 3 link but charlie may open the rules up

Sounds like the majority is wanting the 4 link rule? Just was curious as to why when its a lot more costly.

it might cost more to switch a car to 4 link, but not if it already has it. Besides, no one said you have to use $500 birdcages. Mine are $80 new, I tore one up and made my own.

Fulton, MMSP, Farmington, and Doe Run all allow 4 link b mods. All get on average 16-22 cars weekly and that's mainly where TCS will pull cars from. The 3 links are still plenty competitive against the 4 bar cars too. Plus when Gundaker ran LOS they ran MMSP type rules. Hopefully they see all the interest and add the class for a night this year!
