What cars will attend Montgomery county speedway in 2012

Possible classes Crate latemodels B-Modifieds Sportsmans or Street stocks Classes for sure A-Modifieds Open latemodels and Pro 4s

Also give some good arguments why any of the possible classes would be a good choice for this track.
We will not run mixed classes as they are almost impossible to police them !

Every one will be treated the same the rules will be firm but fair for everyone!

We will have a meeting after the planning and zoning meeting to discuss all the plans and to let the racers know of all our plans and take questions and address any concerns you may have.

Also I would like to thank every one for the kind words about me .
some of you may not know me but those that do understand that I will not get behind something if I do not believe in it 100 % and those of you that do not know Randy he is a very stand up guy with a huge heart and his word is as good as gold if he tells you it is going to rain get your UMBRELLA'S boys !

So in closing if any one out there knows us and can attend the planning and zoning meeting and put in a few good words as to our character and how you think this track will benefit the area we would appreciate it .

Thanks

Casey Pearson

Ulma late models, the east side of their region, crates and limited cars seem to mix well and have good racing at Lucas oil speedway. Great alternative for non crate guys that do not have all aluminum open motors.

ULMA over crates. If you go with the same classes as Fulton that helps your car counts. Crates can run with the ULMA, thats what we have done the past 3 years and the crates are covered in the rules for the ULMA.

If you run ULMA we would definitely come back. We raced there for 4.5 years before it closed down and always had a big group in the stands.

Thanks

i attended races at mcs i love the track maybe you could make it where it is a lil racier in the feature it would be cool to see some 360 sprints crates a mods b mods and sportsman and pro 4

B-Mods!!! Before they closed they were getting 15-20 B-Mods everyweek... It would be great to place to run on Saturday Nights. I ran there everyweek until they closed.

we will be there,, running #86 A mod ,,tho Bmod & sportsman would be good for us also..
either way,we plan to run there weekly, should it open..the current configuration is good,
with some small improvements it would be fantastic..

Casey, you better believe me & Conoyer will be back there, it was my 2nd home. We were there for 1st day of practice in July of '01 & every sat. till that very sad last night of July '09. Racing for me has not been any fun since its closing. I’ve known you & Terrie since you were going for your street stock championship at the charlie bowl, you guys have always been a class act. If you're promoting this deal I’m confident you'll get tons of support.

we have a bmod and would like to come to mcs a few times this year .i feel if the dust issue could be improved we could get a lot more repeat fans in the stands.in the past i brought several people to the track all said they enjoyed the racing but hated the dust. maybe mixin some redclay or somthing would help. jim hartzell. 67 bmod.

While I'm thinking about some idea's here, the road back to the pits off turn 4 was always kinda crazy with cars waiting to scale and others fighting dust and the lights back there. Widening or grating or a little of both could make car extraction from the track a lot smoother. As far as track dust, I think that was more of a product of poor track prep than anything thing else. I would propose cutting up the track the morning of an event and adding water then instead of adding water on a sealed surface from the week before.

I would love to come back with my super l/m. would like the track the way it was. most of the time there was multiple grooves. it all depends on track prep

Just think about the possibilities this track can have....Lake Ozark Speedway is not racing (as of right now), Central Missouri Speedway closed down, and Moberly I believe has shut down also. Treat the racers with respect and with the right promoting, this track has the possibility to be better than it was in its prime. Good Luck with the endeavor.

ULMA late models. I can guarantee 2 cars from my shop. U run crates only you eliminate about 15 cars within 50 miles that would be there. This track is 30 miles from my home and the other option is 130mi. If you do run ump lates we will Run there with a limited motor. But almost everyone this side of the Mississippi sold their crate motors. Would be foolish not to bring in ULMA!
