what i learned at tri city meeting

ok sorry my son was typing as i was talking ,we were saying we are glad the yellow flag issue was brought up at the meeting meaning no more one driver gets his spot back and one goes to the back. whoever is involved in a yellow ALL go to the back of the field. sorry for any confusion we are not journalist we do screw up on post sorry for caps and sorry no punctuations but im sure you get it now. i think tri city has a lot to offer this year guys

alright!!!! real racing with no judgement calls!!!! Maybe I should skip B-town and race only at Tri-City. Bopper

Tri-City will be packed with top notch racing and tons of real race fans! All go to the back is a rule that is old fashioned and should be implemented at all tracks! I think Kevin has already won the 2005 Promoter of the Year! It's been a long time since I've seen so much excitement about a local dirt track and they haven't even had any hot laps yet. Wow it will be neat and I'll sure be there for the opener! There will be many new fans there who have never been to Tri-City and the first impression will go a long ways towards keeping them coming back. Thanks Kevin for fighting for the real fans and racers. Maybe I'll see you in victory lane at your track someday???

there are darn few professional racing associations in the world that 'gives ya your spot back' if you are involved in a yellow that is not your fault. they do that in the quarter midgets, and, even though my car was a beneficiary of more than a few of those calls, i wished all along that they would do away with that rule. these kids go onto other types of racing thinking something will happen that ain't gonna happen.(get your spot back). i 've never liked it, and never will. sorry, but that's the breaks sometimes. kudos to gundaker for doing the right thing. art.

I think Kevin is well on his way to having a good season. I hope to pop by from time to time to check things out.

The Less Judgement Calls Put Into The Hands Of Officials The Better. Judgement Calls Lead To Arguing And Accusations(Favoritism).

I am getting excited about racing at Granite this season. The only suggestion I have is opening the pit gates earlier that 4pm. It would be nice if I could race Saturday night, and get to the track at noon or 2 pm and unload the car to work on it. Just a thought.

i do believe george has that rule this year at godfrey also many cheers to both tracks its going to be a great season i can tell

Congrats to Kevin on his desire to put TCS back on the map. The Sunday move alone was brilliant. Any decent UMP driver looking for points will make the trip. And with no other tracks around running on Sundays for UMP you have the potential to draw from Peoria, Highland, FarmerCity, Godfrey, Macon, Mt. Vernon, Pevely, etc. I may be jumping the gun out of excitement, but I look for TCS to have some of the best fields this year. EIther way, it's on the right track.
