What is the difference?

Dirty on the bottom!
What is the difference in a under rail and over rail on a Rayburn Late model chassis? Is one better than the other?

Thank you in advance.

The under rail means that there are rails on the left and right side that run under the rear end. Over rail is designed differently where there are no tubes running under the rear end which allows for unlimited rear end travel. A majority of the cars within the last 5 years are over rail due to the crazy 4 bar set ups some people run. Historically the under rail cars are stronger when hit from behind but some people claim that some manufacturers have developed over rail cars that are just as strong. I prefer an over rail car.
