You may be right JHOP but that track was a lot different back in the late 80's than it is now. Several years ago, they made the track bigger and rebuilt the bleachers. The ones back it the 80's were pretty rough like the ones in the picture appear to be.

Ya I remember the old track I was an officail their back in the mid '90s. They still have the same fence up on the front stretch as back then and it was starting to look old back then. When Charlie Smith inclosed the old track he added dirt to the front stretch making the wall shorter.

Here is the last one from this track..Paul Shafer..Like Kevin said the #97 is Mike Bichilli from Ind. and wasn't known for traveling to far..The others Boggs, Johnson, Parker, Shafer, Pierce did travel..Almost makes me think this was a UMP event like Summernationals ..I know its not KKK , Peoria or Fairbury Thanks for all the help !

maybe mt.vernon perhaps. im not sure if white city had s/n there either but i remember them having some ump race of champions races and some other series
