 This is really for Millsey, but if anyone knows anything I sure would like to know if there's any truth to it! What has happened to the sprint class? I hear we have drivers leaving....I know at least 3. This does not look good for next season at all. I really hope something can be done between now and then to prevent this from happening.:(

Nothing can be done if no one has any idea of what you're talking about.;) Would you like to elaborate a little and fill the rest of us in? I know Jerrod Hull is going to run the ASCS series next year, and heard Timmy may be hooking up with Cooper next year for the ASCS series also. You shouldn't say anything on here if you're not ready to spill the beans.:D

It is only hear say, not sure if it is the truth!!! All she is asking is if anyone else knows why these guys are leaving and if there any others. There are no beans to spills just asking a question. I know that one of our sprints is going on to other things, he told me himself. Looks to me that as of now there are 4 or 5 of the top guys that are leaving. Just wanted to know if there are others and why?

Oops!!!!

Whatever...Whatever!!!! The next time I have a guestion,I assure you it will go directly to Millsey. You all can wait till the season starts to find out. These aren't drivers from the back, we're talking top drivers who are leaving...just wanted to see if anyone heard something..Sorry for saying anything.

Yes I know what I'm talking about...fill you in? No.....wait and see!! Your posts on here can be offencive, maybe that's just you but I guess when the season starts you'll see some of us or not plain stupid as others try to make us out to be...You have a nice seson off

And I can assure you that if I had a question for Millsey, it would have already been answered.;) What was the point of getting on here and asking a question then say that everyone could wait? I guess silly season already starting for you huh.....

bigrightrear- could you please explain to me the reason for this message board? I am not sure I understand it.. The point of getting on here and asking a question is to hopefully get an answer from someone who knows what they are talking about. The reason she said everyone could wait is because you get on here and "elaborate" with your smart comments.

As far as the silly season SOME people have that problem all year round!!!

Could you please explain to me the reason for ANY message board? Could you please explain to me the reason she didn't just send Millsey a PM or an email if she didn't want to "elaborate" on anything further to everyone else? It's a public forum, which means it has many reasons, the biggest one if you think about it, is to give people something to do. Personally I kinda like the situation, it means that maybe we'll have some different faces in victory lane this year and no more "boo-bird" speeches.:)

Oh..and it's a place for all to express their opinions and feelings, whether you agree or not.

I ask a question...and how do u know I didn't get a answer from millsey or anyone else for that matter? For your information I did!!! HeHeHe
I did not get on here to tell anyone who was or was not leaving...I simply had a guestion..and as always...someone has to blow it all out of the water. So with that all said...If they want you all to know who they are, they well get on here and tell you...If not..wait and see!

I'm sorry.....! I didn't see you had directed that question towards me. For some reason I hadn't clicked on this post before today.. Believe me I'm not ignoring anyone....

As far as our sprints go there's a lot of stuff going on with them. Most of which is very positive as we have some guys getting opportunities to move up into different series.. I'm sure we'll still be seeing them at various times during the year, but they will be busy with various other activities.

One thing about that, it's going to open the door for some of our younger guys now to step into sprint car seats. In fact I think you saw some of that at the end of this season. I know if I was just starting out not having to face Timmy Montgomery, Jerrod Hull, Joey Montgomery and even a couple of others on a regular basis at SFCR it would sure brighten my day... LOL.. We've got some really good young sprint racers and now is their time to step it up and show us what they've got!

By the way, BigRightRear is a very good source of sprint information. He may come off a bit sharp from time to time (God knows he and I had our head to head confrontations), but I've found his information to be very reliable and helpful. You just have to smack him around from time to time.... LOL!!

The good thing about the group of people we have on here right now on a regular basis is we all have a genuine love for the racing going on at SFCR. I've had more positive feedback from people via PMs lately about all of your posts than I've EVER had.. Thanks everyone!! Just because you disagree about a subject doesn't mean you don't care or are trying to "stir the pot." Everyone can learn from the proper criticism. There's just a proper way to handle it all and recently you guys have been outstanding!

Thanks again,
Millsey

So is it the Montgomery's and Hull? Or who, I would like to know so that I have something to think about this winter! Thanks

See sprint28fan, this was what I was trying to get at. I have no idea why the subject has to be so hush-hush. Most racers announce their plans before the racing season is over anyway. And the comment about my post being taken offensive...well that goes both ways.

Sprintcar#8Fan the only one that has made a public announcement is Jerrod Hull. It would be my guess that if Timmy is leaving it will have something to do with Donnie Cooper's car. And Joey could go the same direction or with a midget ride. With the ASCS 360 series going full throtle next year I would imagine it could open up many doors for alot of drivers. I still think it's a good thing when the dominant cars go out and try something different, it gives others a chance to shine and get noticed.

I posted this awhile back in September.

Jerrod Hull Motorsports

Big news from the Jerrod Hull Motorsports Camp! A decision has been made by Jerrod, his family, and his crew to attack the 2006 ASCS National tour with a full head of steam. Hull, who is no stranger to traveling, made the decision after weighing his options in depth.

"I think this is the right time to get out there and challenge myself while being able to add additional exposure for my sponsors, advertisers, and product support people. We are planning to take on some of the most challenging stars of sprint car racing at some of the most exciting venues in the country. This has been something I have wanted to do for awhile, and we feel that now is the right time to bump up our program. Our 360 program has been awesome this year and we are looking forward to improving upon the success we have had in 2005."

As a coincidence, Hull's announcement of his 2006 expectations comes just in time as a feature article in the famed Flat Out magazine is about to hit the presses. The article and the magazines are set to hit in the upcoming issue.

"It was great to be mentioned in previous articles in Flat Out with Rich DeReu and then the follow-up story on my longtime friend Scott Bonar. I guess It was just time to tell my story and I am honored to be in such a good publication with a strong dedication to the sport. I am excited to read it as well as many of my fans, it really is a great honor."

The upcoming week will see Jerrod Hull and team heading out on a 2hour drive to West Plains for some exciting racing action. As the team heads into the weekend, Hull has found himself in vicotry lane more than a dozen times all accross the Midwest.

"We have been pretty fortunate to find victory lane 13 times this year, and we have finished well in a ton of other events. I want this win very bad as a lot of my local fans will get to see me in action. This is a track that I have had limited success at before in recent years so it should be a great show."

Hey S28F,
I dont want to speak for any driver but I will say that this is a trend all over the U.S., More places run the 360's & they are a little cheaper on up keep than the 410's are. My last "Sprint Car & Midget" magazine said that the 410's all likely to fall off the face of the earth at the rate they are going now. The article also said that some drivers may keep a 410 to drop in for special events but the majority of the drivers with money issues are going to the 360's. Speed is Money, How fast can you go??? This is not just a SFCR issue but a trend that is nation wide.
